Dear ICCS member
It has been a while since our last communication, and I really hope that this letter finds you well and you had a great start in the new year.
The 2023 ICCS CONFERENCE and beyond
The ones of you that were able to participate would most probably agree that the ICCS conference held in Brazil last November was a success. The local organizers prepared an ambitious program comprising invited lectures as well and free communications, but we also had the possibility to immerse into the afro-Brazilian culture of Bahia and experience the Brazilian hospitality. More than 200 health care professionals attended the meeting during which we also had the possibility to honor Dr. Stuart Bower from Boston Children’s Hospital for his long-standing contribution in pediatric urology and childhood incontinence.
The 2024 ICCS conference is scheduled for September 12th -14th 2024 at Marriott Louisville Kentucky USA and will be held in collaboration with Pediatric Urology Nurses & Specialists (PUNS) and Societies for Pediatric Urology (SPU). and you can get more information on http://fallcongress.spuonline.org
Mark your calendars if not done already and prepare for another great meeting where you can discuss the newest developments in childhood incontinence.
Deadline for abstract submission is May 16th.
Upcoming ICCS conferences
Preparations are underway for the 2025 ICCS conference which will be held in Vienna Austria in collaboration with the European Society of Pediatric Urology (ESPU) and Societies of Pediatric Urology (SPU). Mark the date, the meeting is scheduled for September 3-6, 2025.
The venue for our 2026 conference is not decided yet, the society is open for discussions with possible applicants.
Educational activities
Several ICCS courses have taken place in 2023 and more are scheduled for the rest of the year.
The ICCS was present at the Indian Society of Paediatric Nephrology meeting in Kolkata, India 13-15 of October where a bladder dysfunction workshop preceded the meeting. The interest has been overwhelming and other educational activities are under preparation in Asia, the USA and Europe.
The Pediatric Urodynamic course at Evelina’s London will be held in June 2024.
In conjunction with the APAPU October 2024 meeting we are in preparations for an ICCS workshop.

A new initiative is a series of webinars, the ICCS web Sessions on different aspects of childhood incontinence since September 2023.
